Good question!
Color Changes: Flowers may shift in color—pinks, reds, and purples darken, while whites often turn creamy and translucent.
Bruising: Some flowers may develop bruises once embedded in resin, typically due to handling or flower quality.
Bubbles: Natural air pockets in flowers may cause bubbles during the curing process, especially near the edges.
Resin Aging: Resin may develop a slight amber tint over time, which is normal and does not affect its integrity.
-
Yes, resin naturally develops a slight amber tint over time, even when made with high-quality, UV-resistant materials. This gentle shift is part of the aging process and can give your piece a warm, sun-kissed look—much like your flowers captured in golden hour light.
-
Over time, all preserved flowers will naturally undergo some changes. Even with UV-resistant products, slight fading can occur as part of the natural aging process. This gentle transformation is a beautiful reminder of nature’s timelessness, and while it’s inevitable, we work to slow the process as much as possible to help preserve your flowers' beauty for years to come.

Caring for your resin pieces
To keep your resin floral piece looking great over time, just follow a few simple tips. Try to keep it out of direct sunlight so the resin doesn’t yellow too quickly, and avoid really humid spots. Over the years, a little natural yellowing will happen—that’s just part of how resin ages—but with the right care, it’ll still look beautiful. If it gets dusty, wipe it gently with a soft cloth—no need for cleaners or anything harsh that might scratch it. Don’t soak it in water, and treat it like any other keepsake you want to last. With a little love, your flowers will stay a lovely reminder of a special moment for generations.
