What will my flowers look like once they’re preserved?

Preserving flowers in resin is a beautiful way to capture their natural form, but it's important to understand that some changes will naturally occur during the process.

Color Changes
Flower colors often shift during preservation. Pinks, reds, and purples tend to darken, while lighter colors may become softer. White flowers frequently turn a creamy shade and can appear slightly translucent once set in resin.

Bruising
Some flowers may develop bruises that are not visible until they are embedded in resin. This is common and usually related to how the flowers were handled or the quality of the blooms. To minimize the chance of bruising, it's best to choose a florist who works with high-quality flowers and to handle your bouquet with care before it’s sent for preservation.

Bubbles
Because flowers naturally contain air pockets, bubbles may appear during the resin curing process. While we take great care to reduce them, some bubbles—especially near the edges—are unavoidable. These bubbles can resemble tiny water droplets and are considered a natural part of the resin art process.

Resin Aging
Over time, resin can develop a slight amber tint. This is a normal part of the material’s aging and does not affect the structural integrity of your piece.
